Wedding Frequently Asked Questions

We ask that you provide us with your menu selections 30 days prior, along with your wedding checklist.

Ten business days prior to your event. For plated meals, please provide a breakdown of entrée selections. Please include your vendors with your final guest counts.

While we cannot decrease any items, we can usually accommodate an increase.

We schedule your one hour walk through 1-2 days prior, between events which is usually 3:30pm-4:30pm. See your event manager for the day and time that works for both parties.

Your entire wedding party, officiant, anyone else that may be processing and your DJ, if you have one. *If you have a music playlist, bring that with you so we can practice timing.

*We ask that you put your music on an iPod, laptop or iPad (not phones) and ensure the device does not have a password set to unlock it. You will want to assign someone in your party to manage the music and we will help them.

We are here to answer any questions you may have in regards to menu, timing, décor, vendors, etc. via email or by phone as often as you need. We will set up the space for your rehearsal walk through. You will also have a designated Banquet Captain from start to finish of your event.

Oftentimes questions can easily be answered with a phone call, which is sometimes easier to get scheduled. We are also happy to set up *one* in person, one-hour planning meeting with you. Email your event manager to find a mutually agreeable time to do this.

You are granted access to the Northwest room one hour prior to your rental start time. We ask that no more than 5 people arrive at this time.

Up to two hours prior to guest arrival. Please inquire for additional information.

Four hours of event time. Evening weddings can be extended at $350 per hour up to 11:00pm, with last call at 10:30pm.

We take care of all the tables, chairs, linens, ceremony chairs, Ray’s provided floral, outside rentals (for a fee), and service wares. You will need to assign someone to set up any additional décor (name cards, pictures, banners, additional floral, etc.) You are responsible for removal of all items the night of your event; Ray’s cannot store items for pick up.

While we are all animal lovers ourselves, we must comply with WA State Guidelines which dictates that only service animals are allowed on property.

*Emotional support animals do not qualify as service animals and are also not allowed according to WA state guidelines.

Ray’s provides up to 12 (depending on the size of your group) fresh floral arrangements, delivered once a week to be used as dining table centerpieces. They will be neutral in color and seasonal in type. If you’d like to “supplement” the arrangements with a specific flower or color, ask your event manager for options and pricing. Note, we allow only our house florist to work with the arrangements.

Parking is free in our large private lot as well as surrounding street parking.

While we’d love to promise good weather, it’s always good to have a backup plan! For groups less than 50 people, we can move your ceremony under the permanent canopy and run heaters if needed. For groups of 50-100, we can bring in *additional tenting to cover the open deck space. While we cannot tent the open deck area under the Ray’s sign for larger groups, we encourage you to speak with your event manager for more options.

*Additional tenting varies in cost; please obtain a quote from Alexander Party Rentals by calling Craig at 206-282-1987 ex. 9.
