Our event in the Northwest Room to celebrate my husband was absolutely spectacular. Every guest raved about how wonderful the food was. The vegan tempura vegetables were a particular hit, especially with the kids! I really appreciate how you set up the appetizers for vegans, vegetarians, and meat/seafood eaters. One of our guests was gluten-free so I doubly appreciate the menus clearly showing the gluten-free options.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The decor was so tasteful and beautiful. And, while this was out of your control, we couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather. Herons and seals made frequent appearances. The entire ambiance was perfect.

We had SUCH a great time at the rehearsal dinner and the appetizers and dinner/desert were perfect! Everyone loved it all! Our coordinator helped at every level! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Thank you so much for making this event so easy. Jenna was wonderful to work with in pulling this event together and I so appreciate her kindness with all my crazy questions and last minute requests. She did all the heavy lifting and deserves all the credit. The buffet outside was a perfect set-up with everything else. We luckily got a beautiful day, in the end. And, I’m SO glad we went with 4 wraps on the poles. Those hours spent in color consultation were worth it 😉 They looked so good!! It was amazing. Everyone loved the venue, but I really heard about all the delicious FOOD! Please give my thanks to the chefs and kitchen staff!! What a great evening and celebration. It was also amazingly executed. Please give my thanks to all your staff! Douglas was especially a stand-out for being so available and efficient.

We LOVE Ray’s. In the 20 years of our living in Seattle, from the first celebration (birthday, anniversary, out of town guests), Ray’s was always our special go to place! We couldn’t have been happier to come full circle in this big life event celebration by having it there.

“The team at Ray’s made our wedding even better than we could have imagined. We worked with Paula and she was so easy to communicate with. She always responded to our emails incredibly quickly and did everything she could to accommodate our requests (including dietary restrictions!). Ray’s provided a no-fuss experience for us. They took care of everything – from flowers and the gorgeous view, first-class food and drink, to attentive and fun servers, plus a straight-shooting day-of coordinator. Ray’s went above and beyond! Arranging the venue was easy and straightforward. The open house at the beginning of the season allowed us to try a number of different dishes, meet different vendors, and ask questions — while not having someone hovering over our shoulders so that we could be honest about what we liked and didn’t.

Amanda, our contact and day-of coordinator, was incredibly responsive and happy to answer our questions along the way. She was also very patient during our walk-through and kept everything organized so that we knew what to expect. The day of the wedding Amanda and Kenzee, the server lead/banquet captain, were SO great. My whole family arrived before our scheduled time to set up. The entire team was super accommodating and worked around the hoard of people. My dad even made an observation about some bird excrement on the deck, not thinking anything of it, but Kenzee was out there a minute later getting it cleaned up. Talk about service – what a champ! Everything came together for an unforgettable day. People talked about how superb the food was, commented on the great service, and loved the view and setting. Couldn’t be happier with our choice. “Just also want to say thank you for shepherding an amazing night at Ray’s for our wedding. Our guests all raved about the food being the best they’ve ever had at a wedding (even several family members who, let’s say, always offer very frank feedback), and I agree – the beef was delicious, the bacon salad was very popular and I have a tub of the mashed potatoes I’m going to make sure doesn’t go to waste 🙂

The staff were all completely on it last night, too.  They all did a fantastic job serving, bussing, bar-tending and we really appreciate that our guests were well taken care of. I forget the gentleman’s name, but the tall brown-haired guy running things was extremely helpful, making sure all the food got packed up for us, even helping us get everything loaded into a van at the end of the night, and prompting us when food / pies were ready / helping find a lost bouquet.

What none of them saw explicitly was how everything we asked for from you was perfectly executed. I’ll admit that we were a little worried when all the catering staff changed when we were booking but you have been amazingly responsive and detail oriented as we were figuring out what we wanted and changed our minds on various things. So thank you for being awesome, basically!  We’ll definitely recommend Ray’s for other friends who get married in the area.”

Our coordinator helped us set a great timeline and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She truly went above and beyond. The rest of the staff was also amazing and assured a successful event. We attended their open house in the spring and had not yet selected most of our vendors. We ended up hiring their house florist (Bond in Bloom), photographer (Starr Photography), and band (Ambiance Jazz Ensemble)– which was awesome because they all knew the venue so well.
